Job summary

Sinacola is seeking an Off-Road Dump Truck Operator to operate and tend machinery with scoops, shovels, or buckets to excavate and load loose materials. The role spans equipment such as cranes, power shovels, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, and related tooling on construction sites.

You will follow written or oral instructions, set up equipment, read plans, observe safety standards, and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in equipment operations required.

Responsibilities

• Move levers, pedals, and dials to operate power machinery such as shovels, bulldozers, graders, and related equipment.
• Set up or inspect equipment before and after operation.
• Read and interpret construction plans and digging plans; ensure work follows specs.
• Take measurements to verify levels of rock, gravel, bases, or excavated material.
• Receive and execute written or oral instructions regarding material movement or excavation.

Off-Road Dump Truck Operator

Job Summary

The Off Road Dump Truck Operator operates or tends machinery equipped with scoops, shovels, or buckets, to excavate and load loose materials. Will operate equipment not limited to cranes, power shovels, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, trench-digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, dredges, pumps, compressors, and pneumatic tools.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Move levers, depress foot pedals, and turn dials to operate power machinery, such as power shovels, stripping shovels, scraper loaders, dozers, graders, mining equipment, or backhoes.
• Set up or inspect equipment prior to and after operation.
• Observe hand signals, grade stakes, or other markings when operating machines so that work can be performed to specifications.
• Read and interpret construction plans and digging plans
• Ensure operation of equipment within machine capabilities and limitations, and with efficient and safe procedures in many given applications.
• Operate machinery to perform activities such as excavation, backfilling excavations, vibrating or breaking rock or concrete, or making roads.
• Create and maintain inclines and ramps, and handle slides, mud, and pit cleanings and maintenance.
• Lubricate, adjust, or repair machinery and replace parts, such as gears, bearings, or bucket teeth.
• Move materials over short distances, such as around a construction site.
• Measure and verify levels of rock or gravel, bases, or other excavated material.
• Receive and execute written or oral instructions regarding material movement or excavation.
