Job summary

Quikrete Holdings Inc. is seeking a Water Truck Driver in Avondale, AZ to deliver water for dust control and grading work. You will support dirt and paving crews and learn site layouts while operating Water Trucks safely.

Qualifications

• Tanker endorsement required or in progress.
• Clean MVR with no major incidents.
• Construction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with crew to ensure water is available on sites for refilling equipment.
• Operate water trucks and spray water to control dust on roadways.
• Use maps/navigation to locate multiple job sites.
• Follow all policies and OSHA regulations for safety.
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections and report repairs needed.
• Inspect equipment and safety items at end of shift.

Job description

We are looking for a Water Truck Driver to join our team. Drivers will deliver water to Dirt crews, Paving Crews, and various project locations for dust control and grading work. This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of Water Trucks. Drivers will deliver water to dirt crews. Paving crews and pit areas for dust control and grade work. This is a great opportunity for new drivers to get an understanding of the layout of a construction site.

Responsibilities

About the Role

• Must partner with crew members to make water available on jobsites for refilling equipment as instructed by foreperson
• Driver will use sprinkling attachment to spray water on roadways in order to control dust
• Driver will use maps navigation for gaudiness in locating job sites in many different location’s
• Properly follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment
• Perform daily pre-shift inspection followed with submission of a report for any repairs needed DVR
• Inspection of equipment and safety items required at the end of each shift DVR

About You

• Previous Construction Industry experience helpful
