Job summary

Hawkins, Inc. is seeking a Technical Application Specialist to support and grow our water treatment business across industrial and municipal markets.

The TAS will perform on-site evaluations, lead plant trials, and make data-driven recommendations for potable and wastewater systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in water treatment and can work independently while building customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience required.
• Degree focused in Biology, Chemistry or Engineering preferred.
• Excellent selling skills and successful sales experience.
• Strong math and problem-solving skills; able to interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Supports water treatment chemical sales efforts for industrial, municipal, and metal finishing markets.
• Conducts on-site product testing and selection for water treatment applications.
• Produces plant trial data and makes treatment recommendations for potable and wastewater systems.
• Troubleshoots customer treatment systems and suggests performance improvements.
• Assists in training Hawkins Water Treatment Group personnel in potable and wastewater applications.
