The WTPO position involves monitoring SCADA, performing water tests, maintaining records, and conducting preventive maintenance on plant equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; related courses preferred.
• Must obtain WTPO OIT-1 within 6 months; WDM OIT-1 or WDS within 6 months.
• Must obtain WTPO-1 within 12 months; Cross Connection Control Specialist within 12 months; WDM-1 within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate daily water system and monitor SCADA systems.
• Perform routine maintenance for pumps, valves, and related equipment.
• Collect and test water samples; document test results for reports.
• Maintain records of operations, readings, and maintenance.
• Assist Cross-Connection Control inspections and documentation.
• Maintain inventory and procure required supplies.
• Be available for on-call, weekends, and holidays as needed.
