Job summary

Franklin Water Treatment, a division of Franklin Electric, is seeking a Service Technician to install and service residential softeners and water treatment systems in Fort Wayne, IN. You will follow installation procedures, ensure safety, and deliver reliable customer service.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, a valid driver's license, and a Journeyman Plumber or Restricted Appliance license, plus 1–3 years plumbing experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history.
• 1–3 years or more experience in a plumbing type position (preferred).
• Journeyman Plumber or Restricted Appliance License is required.
• Strong work ethic and proven customer service skills.
• Punctual and dependable with great attendance.

Responsibilities

• Water systems installation and/or maintenance.
• Evaluate and repair problems related to existing customer systems.
• Comply with Health & Safety requirements related to installation and service procedures.
• Meet daily installation and/or service schedule as assigned.
• Use available parts to assemble, install, and/or service water treatment equipment or kits according to operating instructions.
