Job summary

Veolia Water Tech is seeking a Service Area Manager to lead a team of Service Employees and oversee industrial water treatment systems, ensuring safety, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will coordinate with site leadership and internal teams to secure equipment and materials for operations.

The role emphasizes delivering on service contracts, driving growth, and maintaining high EHS and quality standards across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a technical field (e.g., Chemistry, Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) or related technical discipline.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and other quality/safety protocols.
• Experience managing people (min 8 years) and water industry experience (min 5 years).
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises 10–15 employees, optimizing scheduling and utilization.
• Manages smaller projects (Mobile Water Systems, Refurbishments) with accurate time/cost/resource estimates.
• Reviews engineering drawings and P&IDs; implements process improvements.
• Maintains stakeholder communication and ensures project modifications align with schedules and budgets.
• Provides leadership reports on progress, staff utilization, and contract expenditure versus budget.
