Job summary

ProChem Water, LLC seeks an experienced Design Engineer to design industrial water and wastewater treatment processes. You will create detailed process flow diagrams for capital projects and work with the R&D Chemist, Mechanical, Electrical, and Sales teams to ensure designs meet customer commitments and are feasible in practice.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in the field, experience generating process diagrams, and a background in chemical, mechanical, or industrial engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related or relevant experience (preferred)
• Generated process diagrams (required)
• Industrial water treatment industry experience (preferred)
• Industrial process design experience is a plus
• Higher education with Engineering focus in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Design process flow diagrams for capital equipment projects.
• Collaborate with internal lab and engineers to develop treatment processes.
• Support proposals and feasibility studies from estimation through as-built stages.
