Job summary

Omada Search is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team on the plant floor in Charlotte, NC. You will evaluate equipment, troubleshoot processes, and drive efficiency across production.

The ideal candidate has a chemical engineering background, 5–10 years in process engineering, and a bias toward action to deliver measurable improvements on the floor, not from behind a desk. You will partner with the scale-up team on launches and support wastewater treatment projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Chemical process experience is required (chemical manufacturing or related process industry).
• 5–10 years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work hands-on in a plant setting, evaluating equipment and improving processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a bias toward action.

Responsibilities

• Be hands-on on the plant floor, regularly evaluating equipment and working on process-related projects.

• Support and continuously improve the wastewater treatment unit, analyzing and optimizing the processes involved.
• Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, reliability, and throughput across manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate closely with a cross-functional engineering team (project management, reliability, and process engineering) to support broader plant initiatives.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and implement effective, lasting solutions.
