Job summary

The City’s water treatment plant seeks a supervisor to plan, schedule, assign, review, and oversee the work of water treatment plant staff. You will supervise operations and maintenance of treatment plant equipment and related facilities, ensuring compliance with laws and City policies.

Coordination with City departments, contractors, and outside agencies is required. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising water treatment operations.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations for water utilities.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, assign, review, and supervise staff.
• Oversee operation and maintenance of water treatment plant equipment and facilities.
• Ensure water operations and maintenance functions meet all applicable laws, regulations, and City policies.
• Coordinate assigned activities with other City departments, contractors and outside agencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
