Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of recent work experience in water distribution systems or water treatment plants.
• Current Hawaii Water Treatment Plant Operator (WTPO) Certification Required Grade 1 or higher.
• Must be able to clear background checks for access to secure work sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain and repair water treatment systems.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Collect and record periodic systems readings and inspections.
• Respond to Water Plant emergencies.
• Maintains logs and reports on supported activities.
