Select Water Solutions is seeking a Water Treatment Operator in Texas to perform field-based water treatment tasks safely and efficiently. The role involves chemical dosing, lab testing, equipment operation, and daily reporting at job sites.

The position requires at least one year of water treatment experience, strong safety awareness, and good communication. Travel is not required and the role is full-time, with benefits and a uniform allowance.

Qualifications

• One year of water treatment experience and/or equivalent training.
• Must be detail oriented due to safety.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Able to thrive in a team environment.
• Experience in energy industry a plus.
• Knowledge of equipment, policies and procedures to promote safety and security.

Responsibilities

• Laying and picking up poly line, running transfer pumps, and essential equipment for water treatment operations; perform lab tests for H2S, ORP, pH, Turbidity, TSS, iron, residual chemicals and TPH/TOG.
• Chemical dosing of produced water based on water quality, rates, and customer demands.
• Loading and unloading pipe, field materials, and equipment onto trailers and trucks for safe transport.
• Observing machine operations and gauges; adjust controls to maintain specified conditions.
• Setting and servicing pumps and generators at job sites.
• Following all safety procedures and using PPE as required.
• Assist in containment and spill clean ups.
• Communicating with other workers using signals, radios, and telephones; communicating with customers.
• Using hand and power tools (hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches).
• Driving trucks and other vehicles to transport equipment and personnel.
• Completing training for DOT, OSHA and safety.
• Keeping a clean work area.
• Completing daily reports.
