Job summary

Select Water Solutions is seeking a Water Treatment Operator to safely perform assigned duties at company locations. Experience with basic oil field chemistry is a plus; role includes working at heights and routine lab testing for water quality.

Key tasks include dosing chemicals, operating pumps, transporting equipment, and maintaining safety standards. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with training provided for DOT and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• One year of water treatment experience or equivalent training.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail due to safety requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Experience in energy industry a plus.
• Knowledge of relevant equipment, procedures, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and retrieve poly line, operate transfer pumps and essential equipment for water treatment.
• Chemically dose produced water based on quality, rates, and customer needs.
• Unload/load pipe and materials onto trailers for transport.
• Observe machine operations and gauges; adjust controls to maintain conditions.
• Set up and service pumps and generators at job sites.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE; assist in containment and spill cleanups.
• Communicate with others using signals, radios, and phones.
• Coordinate with customers and other companies as needed.
• Use common hand and power tools (hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches).
• Transport equipment and personnel by driving trucks and other vehicles.
• Complete required training for DOT, OSHA and safety; maintain a clean work area.
• Complete daily field reports.
