Job summary

Select Water Solutions is seeking a Water Treatment Operator to perform field work at company sites. You will operate treatment equipment, conduct lab tests, and ensure safe, compliant operations while maintaining records.

Ideally you have at least one year of water treatment experience, strong safety discipline, and ability to work on-site in various environmental conditions. Training in DOT and OSHA is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of water treatment experience or equivalent training.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Detail oriented due to safety.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Able to thrive in a team environment.
• Experience in energy industry a plus.
• Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor water treatment equipment and pumps.
• Conduct lab tests (H2S, ORP, pH, Turbidity, TSS, iron, TPH/TOG).
• Dose chemicals based on water quality.
• Transport equipment and materials safely.
• Observe and adjust controls to maintain specified conditions.
• Set and service pumps and generators at job sites.
• Follow safety procedures and use proper PPE.
• Assist in containment and spill clean ups.
• Communicate with team and customers.
• Complete daily reports.
