Job summary

Resource Options, Inc. seeks a Water Treatment Operator to operate and maintain industrial water treatment systems across client facilities in the Northeast.

You will perform inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and collect samples, documenting all activities with a mobile app. You will travel between client sites using a company vehicle, work independently in the field, and participate in rotating on-call and weekend schedules as required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude is required to diagnose and repair systems in the field.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot equipment on-site.
• Proven ability to perform field inspections and routine maintenance.

Job description

As a Water Treatment Operator you will operateand maintainindustrial water treatment systems at multiple client facilities. Performs routine inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on treatment equipment. Collects water samples and assists with environmental sampling and sewer system evaluation studies. Completes required field reports and documentation using a mobile field application.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to multiple client facilities using a company-provided vehicle.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on industrial water treatment systems.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot water treatment equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine system checks.
• Assist with equipment installations and system upgrades.
• Collect water samples at multiple facilities.
• Identify and communicate mechanical or operational issues with equipment.
• Complete required field reports and documentation on a daily basis.
• Use a mobile field application to record job and system information.
• Work independently in the field while following company and client safety procedures.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule approximately once every 3–4 weeks.
• Participate in a rotating weekend schedule as required.

Qualifications:

• Massachusetts Grade II Industrial Water Treatment License preferred, but not required. Company is willing to train the right candidate.
• Environmental experience or degree is beneficial but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Plumbing and/or electrical experience is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot equipment in the field.
• Basic computer and mobile application skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean and safe driving record required.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to lift approximately 20–50 pounds.
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred, but not required.

Pay Range: $24-28/hr.
