Trane Technologies in Austin, TX, is seeking a Water Treatment Technician Team Leader to supervise field technicians who perform start-up, commissioning, and servicing of water treatment equipment at customer sites.

You will lead end-to-end testing, diagnose issues, and ensure safety and quality while coordinating with the Area Service Manager and customers. This role requires HVAC experience and strong plumbing and chemistry knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in HVAC.
• Knowledge of water chemistry testing and color changes.
• Plumbing skills; PVC and copper installation preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.

Responsabilités

• Perform end-to-end water chemistry testing, start-up, commissioning, and servicing of water treatment equipment on assigned projects.
• Serve as the direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining water quality and equipment in accordance with industry standards at the customer site.
• Coordinate with Area Service Manager and customers to understand requirements for the water treatment program’s success.
• Diagnose and repair using blueprints/engineering specs and a range of hand-tools and cutting-edge software.
• Coordinate on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
• Maintain safety standards and accountability for company assets and issued equipment on projects.
