Job summary

Trane Technologies is hiring a Water Treatment Technician Team Leader in Austin, TX. You will supervise Field Technicians performing start-up, commissioning, and servicing of water treatment equipment.

Responsibilities include end-to-end water chemistry testing, direct customer contact, and coordinating on-site work with the Area Service Manager to meet project requirements. Safety and asset accountability are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in HVAC or related field preferred.
• Minimum five years in HVAC.
• Working knowledge of basic chemistry and ability to detect color changes.
• Plumbing skills including PVC, copper and black iron installation preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
• Valid driver's license for at least 12 months with clean record (3 years).

Responsibilities

• Lead start-up, commissioning and servicing of water treatment equipment on projects.
• Serve as direct customer contact and ensure satisfaction with systems and equipment.
• Coordinate with Area Service Manager and customer to define water treatment requirements.
• Utilize blueprints/engineering specs and tools to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Forecast issues and coordinate on-site installation/repairs with customers.
• Maintain safety standards and manage company assets on site.
