Job summary

Trane Technologies in Austin, TX is seeking a Water Treatment Technician Team Leader to supervise Field Technicians performing start-up, commissioning, and servicing of water treatment equipment at customer sites.

The role requires at least five years of HVAC experience, strong water-chemistry testing skills, and the ability to read blueprints; travel and overtime are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HVAC with certificate preferred.
• Minimum five years’ HVAC experience required.
• Working knowledge of basic chemistry and testing color changes in water samples.
• Valid driver’s license for 12+ months with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end water chemistry testing and commissioning of water treatment equipment.
• Supervise field technicians and coordinate with Area Service Manager and customers.
• Diagnose using blueprints/engineering specs and repair equipment on site.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure customer satisfaction on all projects.
