Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies is seeking a Resident Field Service Representative to perform maintenance and troubleshoot water treatment systems across various industries. The role requires hands-on electrical, mechanical, and analytical testing skills, with the ability to work independently or remotely with project teams.

You will service equipment, maintain parts inventories, and generate detailed technical summaries for customers while ensuring contract compliance and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED / Homeschool Certification or international equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
• Valid Driver’s License
• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation (preferred)
• Knowledge of electrical equipment, water chemistry and safety

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical, and controls preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
• Consult with customer management and operation teams
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and chemicals and replacement parts
• Create and maintain site paperwork and provide detailed technical summaries
• Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications
• Perform analytical testing such as turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC
• Assist in service activities including calibration, inspection, and repair
• Complete required paperwork and provide customer support
• Work schedules that fluctuate based on customer needs
• Provide equipment and general hardware/software support
• Adhere to safety and company vehicle policies
• Perform diagnostics, testing, and calibration of instruments
