Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Field Service Representative to provide operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for diverse industries. The role involves working on technologies such as RO, IX, UF, and various filtration methods.

The position requires travel up to 80% within Michigan and surrounding states, with strong mechanical skills, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work independently on site. A high school diploma is required, with preferred STEM-related degrees.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams.
• Provide customers with informal training around operation and maintenance of their system.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs (16 kg).

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment.
• Create and maintain site paperwork; provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts.
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems.
• Perform analytical testing (turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC).
• Review customer plant installations against reference drawings (P&IDs, schematics).
• Other duties as assigned.
