Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies in Bellevue, WA seeks an experienced engineer to support water treatment projects worldwide. The role includes international travel (70-80%) and on-site commissioning, construction liaison, and operations support across Water Treatment Plants.

You will contribute to design reviews, FATs, and commissioning plans, applying advanced water treatment knowledge while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent and engineering knowledge applicable to water treatment.
• Willingness to travel extensively (70-80% ~250 days/year) across North America and internationally.
• Experience with water treatment technologies and commissioning processes.
• Ability to work independently with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Participate in model reviews, design meetings, and safety in design reviews to ensure accessible and operable equipment.
• Perform control system FATs with clients and client-designated representatives.
• Define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions to improve operations and design viability.
• Apply water treatment chemistry calculations and T&M contract cost monitoring.
• Serve as construction liaison between design and field teams during erection of plants.
• Develop and execute commissioning schedules and plant performance plans.
• Commission water treatment plants ensuring equipment and control systems meet specs.
• Provide technical instruction to customer representatives on installation, operation, calibration, and maintenance.
