Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; journeyman certification preferred.
• Minimum five years' experience in operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical/electronic equipment in water/wastewater or heavy industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices, including high voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, install, alter, repair, and maintain high/low voltage motors, switchgear and related equipment.
• Prepare preliminary cost estimates for materials and equipment for work.
• Maintain records of operation, maintenance and calibration activities.
