Job summary

Select Water Solutions is seeking a Water Transfer Operator to join our field crews. You will set up, operate, and rig down water transfer jobs outdoors, using poly pipe, lay flat hose, pumps, and generators. The role emphasizes safety, communication, and teamwork across a crew.

The position requires one year of experience or equivalent training, strong organization, and the ability to work in varied weather. Training for DOT/OSHA is provided.

Qualifications

• One year of experience or equivalent training.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills; detail oriented for safety.
• Excellent oral and written communication; able to work in a team.
• Experience in energy industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of equipment, policies, procedures for safety and security.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Laying and picking up poly line, lay flat hose, running transfer pumps, and essential equipment for water transfer operations.
• Loading and unloading pipe, field materials, and equipment onto trailers and trucks for safe transport.
• Observing machine operations, gauges, and adjust controls to maintain specified conditions.
• Setting and servicing pumps and generators at job sites.
• Following all safety procedures and using proper PPE as required per specific task.
• Assist in containment and spill clean ups.
• Communicating with other workers using signals, radios, and telephones.
• Using hand and power tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
• Driving trucks and other vehicles to transport equipment, personnel and perform job task.
• Attending and successfully completing training for DOT, OSHA and safety.
