Hydromax USA is hiring a Technician Trainee - Water in Plano, TX. Our 3-month trainee program prepares you for advancement to Water Technician 1, with clear career steps through Technician 2, Technician 3, and leadership roles.

The position starts as an entry-level role with hands-on training, safety emphasis, and real field work alongside experienced crews. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Eligible to obtain DOT Medical Certification as required by project locations.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and navigating varied terrain.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel including weekends and some nights.
• Proficient in using mobile devices and field data collection apps.
• Demonstrated safe driving and vehicle operation abilities.
• Ability to operate and maneuver a 4x4 2500 series truck in challenging conditions.

Responsabilités

• Accurately collect GPS coordinates for all assets.
• Safely operate, maintain, and clean all equipment.
• Gather precise data from inspection points.
• Maintain productivity and discipline throughout the day.
• Maintain driving score of A-90 or above.
• Learn to maintain or operate fire hydrants and valves per AWWA standards.
• Perform repairs on fire hydrants and water main valve nuts.
• Communicate with support staff and field managers daily.
