Job summary

Guarantee Restoration Services (GRS) is seeking an experienced Water Technician to join our Lafayette, LA team, with the position based in Scott, LA. The role focuses on water damage mitigation across projects and includes hands-on labor and coordination with the project manager.

Starting pay is $16-18/hour, with a full insurance package (medical, dental, vision) and a fully vested 401K with employer match, plus opportunities for certifications. On-call rotation may apply for extra compensation.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience working Water Mitigation projects preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have own reliable transportation
• Must be able to work weekdays, nights, and weekends
• Must be on call for any afterhours work that comes in.
• Hard worker with attention to detail
• Relationship building/maintenance skills
• Must be reliable, dependable, and drug free

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager on various construction projects
• Specialize in water damage from small scale to large scale flooding projects
• Learn about different types of drying equipment
• General labor duties such as gutting, cleaning, and packing
• Assist with demolition and reconstruction
• Pre and post construction clean-up
