Job summary

Guarantee Restoration Services is seeking an experienced Restoration Technician to join our Lafayette area team in Scott, LA. You will assist the project manager on construction projects, assess damage, and plan cleaning while handling gutting, cleaning, and packing tasks.

Responsibilities include demolition support, maintaining a safe job site, and preparing equipment for upcoming jobs. We offer full medical, dental, vision benefits, 401K with employer match, and opportunities for restoration

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive for business up to 20% of the time.
• Must be reliable, dependable and drug free.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager on various construction projects.
• Assess property damage and create a cleaning plan.
• Gut, clean, and pack as part of general labor duties.
• Participate in demolition and reconstruction processes.
• Maintain safe job site practices.
• Prepare equipment for upcoming jobs and perform pre/post construction cleanup.
• Support on-call rotation and related duties.

What you'll be responsible for as an Experienced Restoration Technician:

• Assist project manager on various construction projects
• Assess property damage and create cleaning plan
• General labor duties such as gutting, cleaning, and packing
• Participate in demolition and reconstruction process
• Maintain safe job-site
• Prepare various types of equipment for upcoming jobs
• Pre and post construction clean-up

What you need to have:

• Relationship building/maintenance skills
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
• Personable with good communication skills
• Hard working TEAM player who can easily adapt to changing needs
• Strong desire to learn and excel
• Must have and maintain a valid drivers license as driving for business is required up to 20+% of time
