Job summary

Guarantee Restoration Services (GRS) is seeking a Water Technician to join our New Orleans, LA team. You will assist the project manager on water mitigation projects, performing extraction, gutting and debris removal as needed across projects of varying scale.

We offer starting pay of $16-18/hour, 401K with employer match, full insurance (medical, dental, vision) and opportunities for restoration certifications. On-call nights and weekends required; on-site role with a strong community focus.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of Water Mitigation project experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work weekdays, nights, and weekends due to on-call rotation.
• Hard worker with attention to detail.
• Relationship-building/maintenance skills; reliable and drug-free.

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager on various construction projects.
• Specialize in water damage mitigation from small to large scale projects.
• Remove damage through water extraction, gutting and demolition as needed.
• Pre and post construction debris removal.
• Contents cleaning and packing; create a cleaning plan based on project needs.

What you'll be responsible for as a Water Technician:

• Assist project manager on various construction projects
• Specialize in water damage from small scale to large scale flooding projects
• Remove damage through water extraction, gutting, and demolition as needed
• Pre and post construction debris removal
• Contents cleaning and packing
• Create a general cleaning plan depending on project needs

What you need to have:

• 0-3 years experience working Water Mitigation projects
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to work weekdays, nights, and weekends due to on-call rotation
• Hard worker with attention to detail
• Relationship building/maintenance skills
• Must be reliable, dependable, and drug free
• HVAC and Carpentry experience a plus - compensation would be adjusted per skillset
