Job summary

Great Lakes Water Authority is seeking a Systems Technician to control and regulate activities in the water distribution system. The role involves monitoring equipment, troubleshooting mechanical failures, and responding to emergencies.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, three years of relevant experience, and a Michigan F4 or S4 Certification. Comprehensive benefits are included following 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

  • Three years' experience in water operations as a Water Technician Level 2.
  • Completion of a Water Technician Apprenticeship program is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control water pumping and distribution.
  • React to emergencies and notify appropriate personnel.
  • Perform minor repairs and initiate service requests.
