Great Lakes Water Authority is seeking a field service technician to repair and maintain pumps, gearboxes, valves, and dewatering equipment in water and wastewater facilities. You will perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance while documenting activities and results in GLWA's systems.
Responsibilities include reading blueprints, providing on-the-job training, and supporting project estimates and safety compliance in field operations.
Compensation $23.43 - $33.51 (Based on Experience)
Summary: Repair and maintain tools and equipment. Perform required routine preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance. Perform other related duties and work for Field Services, Water, and Wastewater Plant Operations.

Visually inspect equipment and processes at any time of the day or night, pass a bio-mechanical physical, vision, baseline physical and annual fit tests, wear respiratory protection, and other personal protective equipment. Perform a variety of laboring tasks involving carrying, stacking, digging, shoveling, hitting, pushing, pulling, and other efforts requiring considerable physical strength and stamina.
Work is performed in the field or plant environment. Work may be performed in confined spaces, hazardous areas that require respiratory protection and personal protective equipment (PPE), and under slippery and wet conditions.
