Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years related experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Massachusetts Drinking Water Supply Grade I-Treatment and Grade II Distribution certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water pumping stations, treatment and distribution systems to ensure reliable water for domestic use and fire protection.
• Oversee completion of assigned projects and monitor maintenance of buildings and water systems.
• Communicate with contractors and developers to protect end users’ interests; coordinate with outside contractors and engineers.
• Provide emergency response to water issues; participate in on-call rotations; resolve customer complaints and support staff.
