Job summary

Ground/Water Treatment & Technology, LLC is hiring a full-time Technician in Millbury, MA to install and maintain water treatment equipment and systems. Overtime, night/weekend work, and periodic travel to remote job locations are common.

The role requires safety adherence, clear communication, and the ability to perform pipefitting, instrument installation, and light welding. A valid driver’s license and background check are required; wastewater operator certification must be obtained within

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in environmental/construction preferred (training possible).
• Certification as wastewater treatment plant operator required within one year of employment.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Understand, apply, and adhere to all safety procedures.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with peers, superiors, and clients.
• Mechanical and process piping installations including equipment placement, anchoring, and pipefitting (PVC, HDPE, metal).
• Install related instrumentation and use hand and power tools.
• Light welding and application of coatings.
• Frequently lift/move up to 75 pounds.
• Operate forklifts, aerial lifts and other heavy equipment with training.
• Start-up and routine operation, monitoring and maintenance activities.
• OSHA 10hr, 40-hr training with 8-hour refresher preferred.
