Job summary

WhiteWater maintains and operates municipal water and wastewater facilities. The Maintenance Technician performs maintenance to ensure reliable operation and safety of assigned systems, reading blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals as needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a background in water/wastewater or related technical fields, and be computer literate, with a valid MA license or the ability to obtain one, plus OSHA 10 training where required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Background in water and/or wastewater treatment or supporting technical field.
• Knowledge of MA water/wastewater regulatory requirements is expected.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
