Job summary

The City of Santa Rosa seeks a Water Systems Technician Manager to lead the installation, maintenance, and operation of critical water and wastewater control systems. The role oversees SCADA, PLC, and related instrumentation, directs technical staff, and partners with IT and engineering to ensure safe, reliable service for our community.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in maintenance of electrical/instrumentation systems in water/wastewater.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating with IT and engineering.
• Knowledge of SCADA, PLC, telemetry, and security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and review installation, maintenance, and repair of control systems.
• Provide technical leadership for SCADA/PLC projects.
• Manage budgets, procure parts, and track costs.
