Job summary

The City of Pasadena seeks a maintenance technician to perform skilled, hands-on tasks across water storage sites, lines, meters, and related equipment. You will work with teammates to complete daily and weekly upkeep, mowing around tanks, and occasional repairs to fences, pipes, and buildings, as well as pump and motor maintenance.

Must hold required licenses and certifications and follow city timekeeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent
• Experience in construction trades (concrete, pipe work, electrical, general labor)

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled maintenance on water storage sites and equipment.
• Work with co-workers as a team on daily/weekly upkeep.
• Mow and trim around tanks and fences; repair fences as needed.
• Paint pipes and buildings; maintain pumps and motors.
• Maintain required licenses and certifications and follow city policies.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
