Job summary

Henry County Water Authority is seeking an entry-level maintenance technician to support the upkeep of wastewater treatment and water production facilities, pump stations, and related sites in Georgia. You will perform preventive maintenance, assist in repairs, and help maintain equipment and building systems.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components, using hand and power tools, and recording maintenance actions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Valid Georgia Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure reliability.
• Repair, maintain, overhaul, and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.
• Inspect motors, pumps, blowers, drives, and belts; monitor fluid levels and replace filters as needed.
• Use hand and power tools and precision instruments for maintenance tasks.
• Assemble, install and/or repair pipe systems and machinery.
• Maintain maintenance records for equipment and structures.
• Follow confined space entry procedures and basic first aid principles.
• Consult O&M manuals to diagnose problems and order parts; adhere to safety regulations.
