The role requires afterhours availability for emergencies, driving, and a valid Texas driver’s license, with emphasis on maintaining high safety and operational standards across all facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• TCEQ Class C Surface Water License required.
• Four years’ experience in water treatment and supply operations, or an equivalent combination.
• Two years’ experience in Water Utilities management including supervisory experience.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Plans and manages operations, maintenance, and repair of the district’s total water system.
• Assists in operation of water treatment plant, well field, transmission and distribution system.
• Prepares reports and maintains facilities.
• Develops SOPs and Preventative Maintenance Plans.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations and district policies.
• Responds afterhours for emergencies; driving is essential.
