The City of Fort Worth is seeking a Water Field Operations Crew Leader to supervise teams responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of the city's water distribution systems. This role combines leadership with hands-on field work to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards.

You will lead crews, coordinate emergency responses, and oversee critical water infrastructure tasks while maintaining regulatory compliance and city policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• TCEQ Water Distribution Class C license or higher is required.
• Texas Class A CDL with acceptable driving record is required.
• Minimum of four (4) years of hands-on experience in water and/or wastewater field operations.
• Ability to pass physical, drug screen and background checks.

Responsabilités

• Lead Crews: provide direction and supervision for field crews performing construction, maintenance, and repair of water distribution systems.
• Ensure safe and efficient operations and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee installation and maintenance of water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Monitor work quality and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Perform technical tasks related to water systems and provide on-the-job guidance.
• Promote safety and provide training for team members.
• Document operations and maintain operational reports.
• Support emergency response to minimize service disruption.
