Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies in Texas is seeking a Field Engineering Intern for a 12-week internship across Houston, Port Arthur, or Beaumont with a May 2027 start. You will join a strong technical service environment in industrial water treatment and gain exposure to supporting water treatment systems alongside experienced professionals.

Qualifications

Basic mechanical skills to help troubleshoot chemical feed equipment.
Computer skills – Gsuite and Visio; online data management.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and maintain deliverables in a fast-paced work environment.
Full-time availability for Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

Generate system drawings and PFDs for on-site manuals and proposals.
Actively monitor process equipment performance through online tools.
Assist in completing monthly reporting requirements.
Perform field checks on process equipment (flows, pH, conductivity, chemical residuals).
Work with supervisors on plant equipment optimization opportunities.
