Job summary

Golden State Water Company is seeking a Water Supply Operator III in Santa Fe Springs, CA. You will oversee operation and maintenance of pumping, treatment, and monitoring systems, including groundwater wells and filtration units.

The role requires acting as a shift operator as needed and mentoring junior staff. Responsibilities include performing laboratory analyses, dosage calculations, maintaining records, and supporting field capital projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid California Driver’s license required.
• Proficiency with Windows, word processing and spreadsheets.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Physical condition adequate for field duties including lifting and standing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in operation of water supply and treatment equipment.
• Monitor and maintain groundwater wells and treatment systems.
• Train and mentor lower-level operators.
• Perform efficiency tests on pumps and equipment.
• Maintain treatment and supply records and inventory.
