Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer/Specialist to support pre- and post-sales activities for complex water infrastructure solutions. You will collaborate with Sales, Support, and Project Management to tailor technical proposals and ensure successful delivery.

Ideal candidates have engineering training, 0–2+ years of experience, strong communication, and solid CAD/CAx/MS Office skills. Travel and a customer-focused mindset are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 0-2+ years of relevant experience. EIT and recent graduates welcome!
• Ability to use consistent business processes to achieve desired results.
• Willingness to provide superior customer service.
• Strong communication, written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Interpersonal skills with customers and colleagues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support during feasibility, design and tender stages.
• Assist Engineering to gather data and understand customer consultancy needs.
• Review tender documents with internal teams.
• Support sales in quotation creation for engineered projects.
• Contribute as a technical consultant on bids and proposals.
• Advise sales on technical requests related to projects.
• Coordinate with Application Engineers and Sales on documentation reviews.
