Univar Solutions is seeking a Water Application Development Specialist to provide technical water treatment expertise to customers, suppliers, and internal teams. You will drive sales growth, support customer success, and differentiate the company through a consultative approach.

Your role includes partnering with customers, developing technical proposals, and delivering trainings while collaborating with Sales, Operations, and suppliers to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in water treatment or industrial solutions.
• Experience collaborating with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of water treatment products, regulations, and NSF standards.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and water treatment expertise to customers and sales teams.
• Recommend and implement water treatment products and solutions.
• Collaborate with customers to troubleshoot formulation and application challenges.
• Conduct customer visits with sales reps and suppliers.
• Develop technical proposals and support business development.
• Monitor market trends to identify new opportunities.
• Deliver trainings to customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Support product launches, supplier qualification, and NSF compliance.
• Coordinate with suppliers on product development and market strategies.
• Assist with contract discussions and negotiations.
• Maintain opportunities and activities in SFDC; support forecasting and growth.
