Details of Job: Join the Aquatics team! Become a Six Flags employee and get FREE park entry! Plus enjoy exclusive employee ride nights, team member events, and more! You must be at least 16 years or older to apply and are looking to fill 5 shifts a week. We will work with your schedule! Interested?

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Ensure that all Guests meet all rider requirements for each attraction.
2. Ensure that all Guests ride the attraction appropriately in the proper rider position.
3. Recognize and respond to emergency situations using skills taught by Ellis & Associates ILTP.
4. Maintain a “Test-Ready” competency level of skills once certified.
5. Ensure that the attraction operates efficiently and enforce all Six Flags Policies.
6. Must attend 2 hours of In-Service Training each month.
7. Maintain a clean work environment.
8. Maintain Ellis & Associates standards for Attendants.
9. Maintain Six Flags’ Guest First Standards.
10. Maintain a regular, prompt attendance.
11. Assist in other areas of the Aquatics Department.
12. Other duties as deemed necessary by Management.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Minimum Age: 16
2. Must be able to communicate effectively.
3. Must be able to successfully pass all applicable Basic Life Support training and licensing through Jeff Ellis & Associates including practical and written tests, demonstrating abilities in basic first aid and CPR.
4. Must remain calm in stressful and emergency situations.
5. Must be able to stand in water up to 3 feet deep for periods of time.
6. Must be able to exit from a pool/attraction at any point without the use of ladders, steps, or a zero depth exit.
7. Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
8. Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude.
9. Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others.
