Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 6 months in public utilities.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License required; within 1 year of employment may be needed.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English; provide good public service.

Responsibilities

• Read meters and record consumption accurately.
• Install and remove water/sewer meters.
• Maintain meters, valves and related components.
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
• Complete written work orders and documentation.
• Work hours may include nights, weekends, and emergency calls.
