Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a field technician to support water and sewer infrastructure. The role includes inspecting, installing, repairing and troubleshooting service lines, valves, hydrants and meters across assigned sites in North Carolina.

You will perform inspections and maintenance on water distribution equipment, coordinate shutoffs and restorations, and participate in on-call rotations for emergencies, while adhering to safety protocols in all weather and confined-space

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5+ years of experience in water and sewer collection systems.
• Possession of NC Distribution and/or Collection System certifications, or ability to obtain.
• Valid NC Driver’s License – Class A CDL or ability to obtain.

Responsabilidades

• Water system support: meter reading, flushing programs, valve exercising, hydrant maintenance, and pressure testing.
• Sewer maintenance: cleaning and inspecting mains and laterals, CCTV, root removal.
• Repair of water/sewer infrastructure and service lines; install/repair meters and service connections.
• Respond to water line breaks, sewer backups, and spills; participate in on-call rotation.
• Operate heavy equipment such as track excavators, dump trucks, and sewer jetters.
• Ensure safety: work in confined spaces and all weather conditions.
