Tetra Tech is seeking a Water Senior Project Manager to join our Transportation team in Austin, Texas. You will provide technical, management, and staff support for water-related infrastructure projects, including planning and design of pipelines, treatment facilities, pump stations, and storage facilities.

Responsibilities include leading projects from concept through final design, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring technical accuracy across reports and designs.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Licensed PE in Civil or Environmental Engineering in Texas or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• Experience in technical project execution and in writing and pricing scopes of work for proposals.
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• 15% or more travel may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the execution of projects from conceptual planning through final design, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Maintain existing client relationships and help develop new client and project opportunities.
• Ensure technical accuracy and documentation on reports and design projects.
• Evaluate alternatives, resolve issues, and interface with other disciplines.
• Provide construction support, interpret specifications, and coordinate with the design team.
• Assess engineering problems, propose solutions, and coordinate with discipline leads to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective work.
• Achieve financial targets related to project profitability and utilization.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
