Tetra Tech, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Water Senior Project Manager to lead engineering for water/wastewater and related infrastructure projects.

You will guide planning, design, and cost estimation while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to meet deadlines and budgets. The role requires a PE in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Texas) or ability to obtain within 6 months, 10+ years of experience, strong client relationships, and a commitment to mentoring junior engineers.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas, or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• Experience in technical project execution and in writing and pricing scopes of work for proposals.
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• Periodic travel of approximately 15% or more.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the execution of projects from conceptual planning through final design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Maintain existing client relationships and help develop new client and project opportunities.
• Ensure technical accuracy and standard engineering practices on reports and design projects.
• Evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues, and interface with other disciplines.
• Provide construction support services, interpret drawings, and coordinate with the design team.
• Make independent assessments of engineering problems and propose solutions to discipline leads.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner.
• Achieve financial targets related to project profitability and utilization.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
