Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water Right of Way Director to refine and oversee the Water Business Group's Right of Way program. You will work with leadership to align market priorities, raise HDR’s technical excellence, and drive growth across geographies and sectors.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, 10+ years of experience, and professional registration. Travel approximately 20% is expected; HDR emphasizes employee ownership and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Preferred: demonstrated industry leadership and industry association engagement.
Preferred: experience developing and managing diverse client relationships and program/pursuit strategies.
Preferred: knowledge of water-related infrastructure and right of way laws and regulations (FHWA/URelocation).
Real estate licenses or related designations are a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide technical focal point for WBG to deliver Right of Way services and build alliances.
Support Market Sector Directors in strategic growth and pursuits; coordinate with technical/marketing teams.
Recruitment and development of staff; align right of way teams to client needs; ensure quality and delivery.
