Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water Business Group Right of Way Director to refine and oversee the WBG right of way program. You will collaborate with WBG leadership and market sector directors to elevate HDR’s Right of Way offerings for clients and projects.

The role requires at least 10 years in related fields, a professional registration, and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a closely related field. HDR offers extensive benefits and an employee-owned culture with travel about 20%.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated industry leadership and industry association engagement.
• Experience in development and management of a wide range of client relationships and specific program or project pursuits.
• Experience working with water-related infrastructure and experience working with Federal and State Right of Way Acquisition laws and regulations such as FHWA and Uniform Relocation Act proceedings.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Project and Program Support Responsibilities. Deliver Right of Way services and build alliances within the WBG; lead long-term growth while ensuring quality deliverables.
• Marketing and Business Development. Develop strategic plans to address market opportunities and drive the business in key geographies and service areas; support client relationships and pursuits.
• Technical Staff Development and Alignment – Stay up-to-date on issues and recruit, mentor, and align staff to meet client needs.
