Job summary

Dry Force in Irving, Texas, is hiring a Water Restoration Technician for first and second shifts. You will remove, replace, and repair water-damaged materials and set up drying equipment, including air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA scrubbers.

You are the face of the company after a traumatic event, with focus on safety, quality, and great customer service. Requirements include a high school diploma, valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Overtime and some holidays required.
• IICRC certifications in water damage or mold remediation preferred.
• 1-2 years of Structural Restoration experience preferred.
• 2-4 years of Construction experience preferred.
• 2-4 years of Customer Service experience preferred.
• Speaking English is not a requirement of the position, but you must be eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

Dry Force is hiring a Water Restoration Technician for both first and second shift in Irving, Texas.

As a Water Restoration Technician, you will be in charge of removing, replacing and repairing water damaged materials and handling any issues caused by water damage. Our technicians are the face of our organization and the first contact a client has after a traumatic situation, which is why our Water Restoration Technicians need to have good customer service and be willing to help others.

• Responsible for setting up air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers to restore damaged property
• Assess the scope of new construction required and sell Dry Force reconstruction services
• Work closely with the management team to ensure customers are well taken care of
• Communicate in a friendly and professional manner with teammates and customers
• Follow company policies to maintain safety, quality, and a professional image
• Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites while following all state traffic laws and company policies
• Document drying progress using a phone or tablet
