Job summary

Roto-Rooter is hiring Field Sales Representatives for the Water Restoration department. The role focuses on identifying and selling water damage mitigation solutions to residential and commercial clients, with leads provided and a base plus commissions structure.

Open interviews are available during the hiring event, and candidates should be prepared for extensive travel and on-site customer interactions. The position requires a valid license and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and background check as per company standards.
• Outstanding customer service focus required.
• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English.
• Knowledge of Water Restoration preferred; plumbing knowledge not required.
• Experience with outside sales is strongly desired; all outside sales experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sell opportunities to mitigate property damage from water in residential and commercial markets.
• Assess properties to determine moisture levels and need for remediation.
• Engage in proactive follow-up with existing customers to offer effective solutions.
• Quote repair/replacement options using pricing matrix and insurance guidelines to close sales.
• Be a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers and collect payments.
• Extensive driving to customer sites and in-home service touchpoints.
