Job summary

Dry Force Corp in Newnan, GA is seeking a hardworking General Laborer/Water Damage Technician to assess, remove, replace, and repair water-damaged materials. You will operate air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA scrubbers, and you’ll be the first point of contact for clients after a flood or leak.

This role requires physical stamina, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Prior restoration experience and IICRC certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to work overtime as needed and some holidays
• IICRC certifications in water damage or mold remediation preferred
• 1-2 years of Structural Restoration experience preferred
• 2-4 years of Construction experience preferred
• 2-4 years of Customer Service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Handle issues caused by water damage and remove/replace damaged materials
• Set up air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers to restore damaged property
• Work closely with the management team to ensure customers are well taken care of
• Communicate in a friendly and professional manner with teammates and customers
• Follow company policies to maintain safety, quality, and a professional image
• Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites while following all state traffic laws and company policies
• Document drying progress using a phone or tablet
